
Achievers University, Owo, through its College of Medicine and Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences in conjunction with the Faculty of Nursing Science, is set to host a lecture addressing one of the most transformative developments in modern healthcare — Artificial Intelligence.
Titled “Healthcare AI: Promise, Pitfalls, and Practical Reality,” the lecture will provide a balanced exploration of how AI is shaping clinical practice, research, and healthcare delivery systems worldwide.
The session will be delivered by Dr. David DASA (MBBS, PhD) of Bournemouth University, United Kingdom, whose expertise spans both medical practice and advanced research.
Scheduled to hold on July 3, 2026, at 12 Noon in the Physiology Lab, the lecture aims to engage students, academics, and healthcare professionals in meaningful discussions on innovation, ethical considerations, and practical implementation challenges.
