Undergraduate Fees

Tuition fees shall be paid following the payment procedure via achieverspayment.com

There are scholarship opportunities, as approved by the Governing Council,  for the first 50 UTME and DE students in the following programmes:

(a) 100% tuition scholarship in Guidance and Counselling, Library and Information Science, Biology Education, Chemistry Education, Civil Engineering, Banking and Finance, Procurement Management, Remote Sensing and Geoscience Information System, Plant Science and Biotechnology, Economics, Sociology and Health Information Management.

(b) 80% tuition scholarship in Geology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Accounting, Business Administration, Criminology and Security Studies,  International Relations, Mass Communication, Political Science, and Public Administration.

(c) 70% tuition scholarship in Public Health, Human Anatomy, Human Physiology and Computer Science

(d) 65% tuition scholarship in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics Engineering.

(2) Acceptance fee (Fresh students only) – N50,000

(3) Hostel fees 

1. 6-man room – N200,000)
2. 4-man room – N250,000)
3. c. By a special approval of the Vice Chancellor, in writing, a student may be permitted to live off campus. Such students shall pay N75,000 environmental benefits fees.

Hostel fee shall be paid into the University account using achieverspayment.com

(4) Sundry Fees – N300,000 which covers registration for first and second semesters, sports, ICT, NHIS, hostel membership fee, development levy, identity card, matriculation, laboratory coat, Achievers University Students’ Association (AUSA) and Departmental fees.

Note: The sundry fees do not cover feeding, indexing, and professional examinations.

(5) Clinical/Field Trip/Practical fee/Immersion Programme

(i) Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Medicine, Pharmacy and Physiotherapy.

(ii) Human Anatomy and Human Physiology

(v) Geological trip (300 Level Geology Students only) – N150,000 

(vi) All other Science-based programmes excluding Education (100 to 400 Levels) – N50,000

(vii) Studio/Practical for Mass Communication (100 to 400 Levels) – N30,000

(viii) French Immersion Programme at Badagry for 300 Level International Relations, Political Science and Public Administration  – N200,000

(ix) Dinner/Law School Mobilization 

100 to 400 Levels – N50,000

500 Level – N150,000

(6) Induction Fee (Graduating 500 Level Nursing, MLS & Engineering) – N75,000

(7) Convocation (Graduating Students only) – N75,000

(8) Administrative charges for processing NYSC mobilization  (Final Year/Graduating Students only) – N20,000

(9) Fees Payment Options:

Option A:  Full payment of all fees, before the end of registration period in First Semester, attracts  5% discount (on tuition fees only) for non scholarship students. 

Option B: Payment of 50% minimum of all payable fees at the start of First Semester and the balance of 50% at the start of Second Semester.

Option C: Payment of 34% minimum of all payable fees at the start of First Semester; 33% on or before the commencement of First Semester Examinations and the balance of 33% on or before the commencement of Mid Semester Examination of the Second Semester.

(10) Each student MUST choose one of the options at the commencement of the session and must abide strictly with his/her option.

(11) Late registration or default in payment as and when due attracts N50,000 penalty per Semester or per expected time of payment.

(12) Failure to register: Any student who fails to register at the end of registration period shall lose his/her studentship for the academic session. Such student is automatically classified as being on suspension of studies. Such student is expected to apply for continuation of his/her study/programme not later than 12 months thereafter, after which, if he/she fails to do so, he/she would be classified as having voluntarily withdrawn.

(13) Normal Registration ends 19 days after the date of commencement of registration (the first 3 weeks of resumption) followed by late registration period with penalty as approved by Management.

(14) There is no other hidden fee throughout the academic session.

Payment Procedure (achieverspayment.com)

1. Open the link with any of your browser on your mobile phone or system properly connected to internet. The link is achieverspayment.com
2. Log in with your Matric Number or JAMB Registration Number (fresh students), which serves as username and password.
3. After you have successfully logged in, check the left side of the page and select payment of your choice.
4. For payment of Tuition Fee, click on Make Payments and select Tuition Fee by checking the box.
5. For payment of other sundry fees such as Acceptance Fee, Departmental Fee and other fees, click on Make Other Payments and select Fee Type.
6. For payment of accommodation, click on Make Hostel Payment and select Hostel Type.
7. After you have properly selected your Payment Type, click on Pay Button, it shows Fee Confirmation Page, click on Proceed Button, which links to Remita platform, where you will select your choice of payment medium such as ATM Card , Bank Transfer and Bank Branch.
8. The Bank Branch medium of payment will generate Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR), print the invoice and take it with you to any commercial bank to make payment.
