I. COMPUTER ENGINEERING
The Computer Engineering postgraduate programme is structured to foster a research-intensive environment while providing students with the necessary skills and knowledge to address complex engineering challenges. The Philosophy of the programme is to nurture post graduates’ students by leveraging on sound foundational training and skills in computer engineering in order to become globally relevant in the industrial and academic domains. Computer Engineering, as the backbone of a knowledge economy, is highly dynamic and versatile. Thus, the programme is also committed to marry theory with practical effectively and hence produce postgraduates who are producers rather than mere consumers of knowledge economy, highly creative, innovative and competent enough to be self-employed in the field of Computer Engineering and their allied disciplines. The courses offered by Master of Engineering (M.Eng.), Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) /Ph.D and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) students in Computer Engineering programme are structured and will be able to compete with the global standard. II. ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING
The goal of the programme is to nurture postgraduates’ students by leveraging on sound foundational training and skills in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in order to become globally relevant in the industrial and academic domains. Electrical and Electronics Engineering is the mainstay of manufacturing industries, the backbone of communication systems, and the pivot of a knowledge-based economy. Thus, the programme is also committed to blending theory with practical, with the ultimate goal of producing postgraduates who are producers, highly creative and innovative blended with competency in handling state-of-the-art equipment in the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and their allied disciplines. The programme addresses the global shortage of Electrical and Electronics engineers by producing skilled professionals who can compete favourably in the international job market. III. MECHATRONICS ENGINEERING
The Mechatronics Engineering postgraduate programme at Achievers University Owo is committed to cultivating innovative and character-driven engineers. XII. NURSING SCIENCE
