This is to inform all staff and students that the Senate, at its 12th emergency meeting held on Wednesday, 16th September, 2020 approved the following as revised academic calendar for the 2019/2020 Academic Session:
- Students arrive on campus – 18th October 2020
- Revision Lectures – 19th October – 6th November 2020
- Second Semester Examinations – 9th – 20th November 2020
- Marking and Results Processing – 23rd November 2020 – 5th December 2020
- Release of 2nd Semester Results – 6th December 2020
- 13th Foundation Lecture – 11th December 2020
- Outstanding Clinical (Nursing & MLS Students)/SIWES – 24th November – 31st December 2020
- Christmas Carol Service – 21st December 2020
- Christmas/End of year break 22nd December 2020 to 9th January 2021
- Senate also approved that Fresh students shall resume for the 2020/2021 Academic Session on Monday, 23rd November 2020
- All returning Students (200 – 500 level students) are to resume for the 2020/2021 Academic Session on 10th January 2021
- All staff and students are expected to comply with the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) protocols/guidelines on Covid19 prevention, which include regular washing of hands, use of hand sanitizer, use of face mask, and daily check of body temperature. Students should, therefore, resume with face marks and personal sanitizer even though Management has put measures in place to ensure the safety of members of the University community.
