Achievers University will host the Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, OON, as Guest Lecturer at the Inauguration Lecture of the Institute of Diplomatic Practice, Culture, and Language Development (IDPCLD).
The lecture, titled “Strategic Autonomy as Nigeria’s New Foreign Policy Direction,” will provide critical insights into Nigeria’s evolving foreign policy trajectory. It will examine the strategic imperatives underpinning the nation’s diplomatic engagements, particularly through the lens of the 4-Ds doctrine, which continues to shape Nigeria’s approach to global partnerships, economic diplomacy, and national interest projection.
