Achievers University Forges Strategic Partnerships with iWorld, Canadian Education Centre, and John Kollyns Technical Training Institute

Achievers University, Owo, witnessed a significant milestone on Thursday, 15th August 2024, as it hosted the signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with three renowned organizations: iWorld (Google Education), Canadian Education Centre, and John Kollyns Technical Training Institute. This landmark event marked the commencement of strategic partnerships aimed at advancing academic excellence, technological growth, research collaborations, and mutual benefits for all parties involved.

The ceremony, held at the University’s CBT Hall, commenced with a warm welcome from the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Omolola Irinoye, who emphasized the importance of these partnerships in enhancing the University’s capacity and reputation. Prof. Irinoye highlighted that these collaborations are poised to bring substantial benefits to the students, faculty, and the larger academic community.

In his remarks, the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Hon. Dr. Bode Ayorinde, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnerships, praising the University’s continuous efforts to establish strategic alliances that will bolster its academic and research capabilities.

The signing of the MOUs, witnessed by the University’s dignitaries, was followed by a cultural performance by the Achievers University Cultural Group, who entertained the audience with vibrant local songs. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Registrar, Rev. Canon Bayode Oladimeji, marking the beginning of a promising new chapter in the history of Achievers University.
