RELEASE OF ACHIEVERS BATCH XV PROGRAMME OF ACTIVITIES AND INFORMATION FOR GRADUANDS

This is to inform the general public, particularly the 2024/2025 graduands of Achievers University, that the “Release of the Achievers Batch XV” will take place at the 15th Convocation/18th Founder’s Day Ceremonies of the University holding between Monday, 8th December and Sunday, 14th December, 2025.

Apart from admission of graduating students to first and postgraduate degrees, as well as presentation of prizes to deserving students on Saturday, 13th December, 2025. Alhaji Layiwola Raufu Mohammed, former Minister of Information and National Orientation, will deliver the 15th Convocation Lecture titled “Just Don’t Graduate, Innovate” on Friday, 12th December, 2025.

 

Also, honorary doctoral degrees will be conferred on these three distinguished personalities:
i. His Imperial Majesty Oba (Dr.) Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, Odundun II, CFR, The Deji and Paramount Ruler, Akure Kingdom;

ii. His Excellency, Prince Roland Olawumi Omowa, MFR, Former Nigeria’s Ambassador to the Central Africa Republic; and

iii. Mr. Folajimi Akinloye Adetula, Chairman, JEMMTEK Resources Limited, Melajoom Foundation, and Chancery Park Hotels and Resorts Limited

   INFORMATION FOR GRADUANDS

  1. All the 2024/2025 graduating students are advised to check their names on the list displayed on the University website, achievers.edu.ng.
  2. All graduands are to report on campus on Friday, 12th December, 2025 to attend the Convocation Lecture, which commences at 11.00 am, and participate fully in a dress rehearsal of the graduands’ procession at 4.00 pm. Graduands who fail to attend the rehearsal and the Convocation Lecture will not be allowed to participate in the procession on the Convocation Day.
  3. Please, note that it is compulsory for all graduands to attend the Convocation Lecture and the Convocation. However, those who may not be able to attend for sufficient reason are expected to give the Registrar prior notice and obtain written permission from him. Graduands who participate in the Convocation Lecture, rehearsal and procession will collect their certificates immediately after the Convocation Ceremony. Those who fail to do so, apart from paying a collection fee of N100,000 as penalty, will only be issued their certificates six months after the Convocation Day.
  4. All graduands are expected to be at the venue of the Convocation Lecture and Convocation 30 minutes before the commencement of the programmes.
  5. All graduands are expected to dress formally, decently and corporately.
  6. Collection of academic gowns will commence on Wednesday, 10th December, 2025 at the University Registry on presentation of “Convocation Clearance”.
