Achievers University, Owo, will host the 6th Induction and Oath-Taking Ceremony for the Nursing Science Class of 2025 on Wednesday, 29th October 2025, at the Prof. Abubakar Adamu Rasheed Auditorium.
Themed “Nursing in a Tech-Driven World: Opportunities and Challenges for New Graduates,” the ceremony will explore the evolving landscape of nursing in an era increasingly defined by technology, digital health, and global innovation.
The Guest Lecturer, Professor Emmanuel E. Anyebe of the Department of Nursing Sciences, University of Ilorin, will lead discussions on how young professionals can leverage technology while upholding ethics, compassion, and excellence in practice.
The event will be hosted by Professor Omolola O. Irinoye, Vice-Chancellor of Achievers University, alongside Professor Simeon K. Olubiyi, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing Science, and Dr. Olaolorunpo E. Olorunfemi, Head of Department.
This year’s induction reaffirms Achievers University’s commitment to producing competent, ethical, and tech-savvy nurses who are ready to lead in the healthcare sector locally and globally.
