PRO-CHANCELLOR INSPIRES ACHIEVERS UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY WITH VISION OF EXCELLENCE AND RENEWED COMMITMENT IN 2026 NEW YEAR MESSAGE

As the calendar turned to a new year, the Pro-Chancellor of Achievers University, Owo, Professor Bode Ayorinde, set a reflective yet forward-looking tone for 2026, calling on members of the University community to recommit themselves to the shared dream of positioning the institution as one of the best universities in Africa.

In his New Year message released on January 1, 2026, Professor Ayorinde, speaking on behalf of the Board of Trustees and the Governing Council, congratulated staff and students for witnessing the New Year and for the collective milestones already recorded in the University’s journey. He also expressed confidence in the achievements that await the institution in the months ahead.

According to the Pro-Chancellor, the past years tell a story of steady progress built on teamwork, sacrifice and dedication. Yet, he reminded the University community that excellence is a journey rather than a destination.
“While appreciating you for your past efforts, we must realize that we are not yet there,” he noted, adding pointedly that Achievers University has not yet attained its ultimate ambition of becoming the best university in Africa. This candid admission, delivered with optimism, served as a call to action, one that urges renewed commitment, loyalty and hard work across all strata of the University.

Beyond institutional aspirations, Professor Ayorinde’s message was reassuring as he committed the New Year into the hands of God. He offered prayers for success in the personal endeavours of members of the University community, emphasizing unity, collective well-being and confidence in a better tomorrow.

Looking ahead, the Pro-Chancellor reaffirmed the resolve of the University’s leadership to provide quality and purposeful direction. He assured staff and students that, in close collaboration with the University Management, the Governing Council and Board of Trustees would continue to steer Achievers University on a path of growth, relevance and global competitiveness.

The message concluded on a warm and personal note, as Professor Ayorinde, on behalf of his wife and family, extended heartfelt wishes for a happy and prosperous New Year to the entire Achievers University community.
