There are scholarship opportunities, as approved by the Governing Council, for the first 50 UTME and DE students in the following programmes:
(a) 100% tuition scholarship in Guidance and Counselling, Library and Information Science, Biology Education, Chemistry Education, Civil Engineering, Banking and Finance, Procurement Management, Remote Sensing and Geoscience Information System, Plant Science and Biotechnology, Economics, Sociology and Health Information Management.
(b) 80% tuition scholarship in Accounting, Business Administration, Criminology and Security Studies, International Relations, Mass Communication, Political Science, Public Administration, Geology, Microbiology, Biochemistry and Industrial Chemistry.
(c) 70% tuition scholarship in Public Health, Human Anatomy, Human Physiology and Computer Science
(d) 65% tuition scholarship in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics Engineering
(2) Acceptance fee (Fresh students only) – N50,000
(3) Hostel fees
- 6-man room – N250,000)

- c. By a special approval of the Vice Chancellor, in writing, a student may be permitted to live off campus. Such students shall pay N75,000 environmental benefits fees.

(4) Sundry Fees – N300,000 which covers registration for first and second semesters, sports, ICT, NHIS, hostel membership fee, development levy, identity card, matriculation, laboratory coat, Achievers University Students’ Association (AUSA) and Departmental fees.

(9) Fees Payment Options:
Option A: Full payment of all fees, before the end of registration period in First Semester, attracts 5%
discount (on tuition fees only) for non-scholarship programmes.
Option B: Payment of 50% minimum of all payable fees at the start of First Semester and the balance of 50% by 28th February, 2026.
Option C: Payment of 34% minimum of all payable fees at the start of First Semester, 33% by 28th February, 2026 and the balance by 31st May, 2026.
(10) Each student MUST choose one of the options at the commencement of the session and must abide strictly with his/her option.
(11) Late registration or default in payment as and when due attracts N50,000 penalty per Semester or per expected time of payment.
(12) Failure to register: Any student who fails to register at the end of registration period shall lose
his/her studentship for the academic session. Such student is automatically classified as being on suspension of studies. He/She is expected to apply for continuation of his/her study/programme not later than 12 months thereafter, after which, if he/she fails to do so, he/she would be classified as having voluntarily withdrawn.
(13) Normal Registration ends 19 days after the date of commencement of registration (the first three
weeks of resumption) followed by late registration period with a penalty as approved by Management.
(14) There is no other hidden fee throughout the academic session.
Payment Procedure (payment.achievers.edu.ng or achieverspayment.com)
- Open the link with any of your browser on your mobile phone or system properly connected to internet. The link is payment.achievers.edu.ng or achieverspayment.com
- Log in with your registered and correct matriculation number (for returning students) or JAMB registration number (for new students), which serves as username and password.
- Ensure your JAMB Registration Number is entered correctly in block letters.
Note: You are to log in after payment of Acceptance Fee. - Navigate the Dashboard
After successfully logging in, look at the left-hand side of the portal dashboard for menu icon (three short lines) to access the payment options. - Payment of Tuition, Sundry, and Clinical/Practical Fees
- Click on “Make Payment”.
- Then “Select the Payment option of your choice (First Option 100%, Second Option: 50%; Third Option: 33%,33%, 34%)” from the dropdown options.
- Payment of Hostel/Accommodation Fee
- Click on “Make Hostel Payment”.
- Select your preferred Hostel from the list provided.
- Select your preferred Floor from the list provided.
- Select your preferred Room Capacity from the list provided.
- Select your preferred Room from the list provided.
- Select your preferred Bed from the list provided.
- Proceeding to Payment
- Once you have selected the appropriate fee category, click the “Pay” button.
- A fee confirmation page will appear — review the details carefully.
- Click on “Proceed”, and you’ll be redirected to the Remita Payment Platform.
- Choose Your Payment Method: On the Remita page, choose any of the following payment methods to complete your transaction:
- ATM Card (Debit/Credit)
- Bank Transfer
- Bank Branch (Generate invoice and proceed to any commercial bank to make payment)
- Bank Branch Payment: Any payment done through the Bank Branch method (paying at the branch of any commercial bank) will not be successful automatically on the payment portal. Follow this process to confirm the payment.
- Log in back to the payment portal.
- Click on “Payment History”, search for the payment and click on “Details” at the end of the payment.
- A confirmation page will appear, click on “Verify Payment”.
- o Then the payment status will either show “Successful” or “Failed”.
- Note: If you have more than one instance of the payment, perform the above process on all.
- Generate Receipt: After successful payment on the Remita payment platform, you can generate receipt by:
- Clicking on “print receipt” after you are redirected to the payment platform from the Remita payment platform. OR
- Clicking on “Payment History”, search for the payment and click on the details at the end of the payment.
ACCOMMODATION POLICY FOR FRESH AND RETURNING STUDENTS 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION
- The University policy is to run a fully residential system, where all students are accommodated in the University-managed Halls of Residence.
- Any student who has any special reason to make private arrangement for his or her accommodation, therefore, must submit an application to the Vice-Chancellor, through the Dean of Student Affairs, stating the reason. Such student must receive a written approval from the Vice-Chancellor.Note: Students who are granted permission to stay off campus will pay Environmental Benefits Fee of N75,000. Hostel Allocation is now online.
Payment of appropriate fees is a condition for hostel registration. - Accommodation Fee per bed space
- 4-bedspace room – N350,000
- 6-bespace room – N250,000
- Allocation of bed space is on first-come-first-served basis
- Allocation of bed space will be on payment of the required percentage of tuition fee based on the chosen payment option.
- On meeting the conditions above, prospective students will submit the attached application form to the Dean of Students Affairs for hall and bed space allocation.
