The Governing Council meets regularly to formulate policies for the running and development of the University.  A Council is to run for five years before it is reconstituted.  The University’s Governing Council has been inaugurated thrice – first at inception in 2008, the second in 2013 and the third and current Council in 2019.  All have been under the Chairmanship of Prof ‘Bode Ayorinde, FCIB, the founder of the University.  The current Council is composed of the following members:
