The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Achievers University, Prof. Bode Ayorinde, has invited interested graduate Nurses of the institution to take advantage of the University’s Scholarship opportunity towards realising their goals. He made this call during the Induction and Oath-Taking Ceremony of 163 graduates from its Faculty of Nursing Science on Wednesday 5th November, 2025 at the University.
In his address, Prof. Ayorinde revealed, that the first 10 graduating nurses who show interest in academia after their internship and national service would be awarded full scholarships up to the PhD level, a bold step designed to fortify nursing education and nurture the next generation of healthcare leaders. He further disclosed that the University will not only employ them but will also be provided them free accommodation. This was not only a package that underscores Achievers University’s student-focused practice but also in furtherance of its unwavering commitment to academic excellence and healthcare advancement in Nigeria.
Prof. Ayorinde congratulated the parents of the inductees for their steadfast support throughout the five-year academic journey. He emphasized that Achievers University is investing heavily in nursing education, with state-of-the-art smart laboratories already established to provide world-class training for students.
Encouraging the graduates to uphold integrity and good character, he reminded them that their certificates are more than academic achievements, they are passports to becoming impactful members of society.
