The University Curricula are enhanced at inception by the following Centres:

A. CENTRE FOR PROFESSIONAL TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

This Centre coordinates the professional training and examinations of various professional bodies, including ICAN, ATS, CIIN, ACCA, CCNA, COMPTIA, ORACLE, A+, CIBN etc. Interested students are guided to sit for and pass the examinations of their choice.

The centre had since been registered as a recognized Microsoft testing centre for Microsoft Office skills and has been presenting candidates for the examinations.

B. CENTRE FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING (CEVOT)

CEVOT provides opportunities for students to be experts in any vocation of interest chosen from a wide field of vocations and cottage businesses. These include snail farming, canerat (grasscutter) rearing, fish farming, animal husbandry, landscaping and beautification, tie and die, web designing and bee keeping, among others.

C. CENTRE FOR INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY

The Centre provides computer training and support services, including interactive boards and e-learning services, to enhance quality of teaching and research to all staff and students. It also organizes short-term certificate programme in Computer Studies.
